SmartCar

Friday, June 30th, 2006

So the Smart car is coming to the usa. First thing I think of is this:

I guess the car will go well with a matching iPod.
I still think the Air Car is cooler.
UPDATE: Comment from Nemo, an actual person from Over Thereā„¢.
The Smart car isn’t that much of a success because it’s very expensive for […]

Kevin Finisterre, a security researcher at Digital Munition created a proof of concept exploit for Mac OS X utilizing launchd.
Apple releases 10.4.7 update to Mac OS X which patches this POC Exploit.
The weasels at Symantic hear about this and issue a warning after the update is out, after the POC is announced. They were […]

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

This is a really fun site. Lots and lots of LIFE magazine covers grouped by year. The interesting thing is viewing them en masse really brings the decades into perspective and humorously illustrates the fact that everything old is, eventually, new again.
History really does tend to repeat itself.

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

WTF is up with M$? Can’t they do ANYTHING on their own?
I guess it’s easier to just buy off the shelf stuff.
Idiots.

Atlanta Nights - the worst book ever written

Monday, June 26th, 2006

Ok, well maybe the second worst book ever written if you know me at all.
Atlanta Nights is a manuscript that was assembled to prove that some vanity presses don’t actually look at the content of submissions.
You can read all about Atlanta Nights and the novel itself here.

Loco Roco is a Gish Rip-Off

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

Loco Roco is a neat game for Sony’s PSP. People love it’s originality and cute physics. Only thing is that it’s basically a rip-off of a game called Gish.
Compare the two and see for yourself.
